Lintang: The Script Font That Elevates Your Campaign Design

It was 9 a.m. on a Thursday, and I was staring at my screen, trying to finalize the visuals for an upcoming product launch. The client had a tight deadline, and the creative brief was clear: make the message stand out. I needed a font that would capture attention without overwhelming the design. Then I remembered Lintang.

Lintang is a script font with a charming, authentic feel that feels hand-drawn yet refined. It carries a personality that’s both elegant and approachable, making it perfect for campaigns that want to communicate warmth, creativity, or a touch of nostalgia. Its flowing curves and subtle variations in stroke weight give it a dynamic presence, which makes it ideal for headlines, callouts, and decorative text elements.

Why Lintang Fits Into My Campaign Workflow

I started by using Lintang for the main headline of the product teaser graphic. The previous version used a generic sans serif font, but it felt too flat. When I switched to Lintang, the visual impact improved immediately. The font brought a sense of movement and emotion to the design, which helped reinforce the campaign’s message about innovation and personal connection.

Next, I applied Lintang to the Instagram post series. Each post featured a different aspect of the product, and I wanted each caption to feel unique but consistent. By using Lintang for the titles and key phrases, I created a cohesive look across all posts. It also made the text more engaging on mobile screens, where readability can be tricky with smaller fonts.

Using Lintang Across Different Campaign Elements

For YouTube thumbnails, I paired Lintang with a clean sans serif font like Helvetica Neue. This combination gave the thumbnails a professional yet inviting look. The script font drew the eye to the title, while the sans serif provided clarity and balance. It worked especially well for webinar promotions and course launches, where the title needed to be both eye-catching and easy to read at a glance.

In Pinterest pins, I used Lintang for the primary text overlay. The platform is all about visual discovery, and the font’s organic feel complemented the lifestyle imagery we were using. It helped create a sense of authenticity that resonated with the target audience.

Email banners also benefited from Lintang. The font added a personal touch to promotional messages, making them feel less like standard marketing copy and more like a handwritten note from a friend. This subtle shift boosted engagement and click-through rates, even without changing the content itself.

Readability Tips for Using Lintang

While Lintang is visually appealing, it’s important to consider its legibility in different contexts. For mobile screens and small previews, I recommend keeping the font size generous and ensuring there’s enough contrast between the text and background. Dark backgrounds work well with Lintang, especially when using lighter colors for the text.

When designing for fast-scrolling feeds, such as Instagram Stories or Twitter, it’s best to use Lintang for short, punchy headlines rather than long paragraphs. The font’s fluidity works best in short bursts, making it ideal for callouts, taglines, and campaign labels.

Font Pairing Strategies with Lintang

To keep the design balanced, I often pair Lintang with a complementary font. A modern sans serif like Montserrat or a classic serif like Playfair Display adds structure and contrast. For a more whimsical look, a handwritten font like Pacifico can be used sparingly to enhance the playful tone of the campaign.

It’s also worth checking if Lintang includes alternate characters, ligatures, or different weights. These features can add depth to your designs and help you avoid repeating the same look across multiple assets.

Choosing the Right Use Cases for Lintang

Lintang shines in situations where you want to evoke emotion or create a memorable impression. It works particularly well for:

However, it’s not the best choice for body text or long-form content. Its ornate style can become hard to read in extended passages, so it should be used strategically to enhance, not replace, other typography elements.

Practical Considerations Before Using Lintang

Before incorporating Lintang into any campaign, make sure to check the available styles, file formats, and licensing terms. If you’re using the font in ads, templates, merchandise, or digital products, commercial font licensing is essential. Also, confirm that the font supports multilingual characters if your campaign targets a global audience.

Finally, always test how Lintang looks across different platforms and devices. What works beautifully on a desktop might not translate well to a mobile screen or a thumbnail preview. Taking the time to refine the font usage ensures your campaign remains consistent and impactful across all touchpoints.

With Lintang, I found a font that didn’t just fit the campaign—it elevated it. Whether you’re launching a new product, promoting a sale, or building a brand identity, this script font has the versatility and charm to make your message more engaging and memorable.
